Common questions

How do I unlock all the currencies?

RoamRate Pro unlocks all world currencies, the tipping calculator and the full Local Price Index. It is a one-time $4.99 — no subscription. Open it from the gear icon, or by tapping any currency marked PRO.

I bought Pro — how do I get it on a new phone?

Open Settings (the gear icon) and tap "Restore purchases". Your Pro unlock is tied to your Apple ID and restores for free.

An exchange rate looks wrong.

RoamRate refreshes rates automatically whenever you are online. To force an update, go to Settings → "Refresh rates now". Offline, the app uses the last rates it downloaded.

Does it really work offline?

Yes — fully. Conversions, your saved currencies and the local price guide all work in airplane mode. Rates simply sync the next time you are online.

Why does it ask for my location?

Only to auto-detect the local currency when you open the app. It is optional — decline the prompt, or turn off "Auto-detect country" in Settings, and everything else still works.
